What is Customer Source and why do I need to use it?

Customer Source is your official connection to resources at Microsoft for supporting your Retail Managment System. It is another layer of assurance, that if something happens to me you will be fine.

It is the tangible evidence of your annual Maintenance Plan and provides a wide variety of benefits, including Technical Support, Education, Software Fixes or patches, and Reports. Access to Customer Source is a web based tool that is very easy to use once set up.

In order to access Customer Source, you will need to create a Microsoft Passport Account. This is accomplished by visiting the following URL: https://www.passport.net .

Next you will need to have a valid Customer Profile in the Microsoft Dynamics system. This will happen automatically when you purchase Retail Managment System from Preferred Retail Systems, or when you renew your Maintenance Plan each year.
