RMS Components
There are three components in Retail Management System:
- Administrator
- Manager
- POS (Point of Sale)
These are role based functions and not location based. In other words, you can do any of the above from any workstation upon which RMS is installed.
Administrator is rarely used except for setup, configuration, database administration, and technical support.
Manager is used for the miriad of back office functions to run your business
POS is used strictly at the Point of Sale to conduct the business of selling your inventory and tendering the sale
